Carrie joined the firm in 2009 when she returned home to Kitsap County after law school and considers it a great privilege to practice law in the community where she grew up, and that she loves. Whether representing a person in a personal injury case, a probate dispute, or landlord/tenant matter what brings Carrie joy in her practice is helping people solve problems. Clients usually contact attorneys when something has gone wrong in their life and they are usually under a great deal of stress. Maybe they have a tenant who has violated their rental agreement, or they have been in a serious collision, or someone in their family has died, or they want to figure out how to provide for their family when they die. Whatever the circumstances may be, Carrie brings compassion and a level head to her representation and figures out the best path forward for each client. For some that may be guidance through the Medicaid application process, for others perhaps litigation. What matters most to Carrie is that her clients know she genuinely cares about their well-being and is here to help them get through the difficult time they face.
Carrie is a member of the Washington Women Lawyers Kitsap Chapter, an Eagle member of the Washington State Association of Justice, and serves as an arbitrator for Kitsap County Superior Court Mandatory Arbitration Program.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys completing fun runs from 5ks to half marathons, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. She has been to 43 of the 50 states so far and looks forward to crossing the last 7 off her list.
